Deploy OBProxy

Prerequisite

You have obtained the OBProxy RPM package and uploaded it to the corresponding directory.

Background

The graphic user interface (GUI) varies with the OCP version. This topic takes OCP V2.5.0 as an example. For other OCP versions, see User Guide of the corresponding version.

Procedure

1. In the left-side navigation pane, click OBProxy to go to the OBProxy page.

2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Create OBProxy Cluster .

3. On the Create OBProxy Cluster page, enter the following information:

   1. In Basic Information , enter the cluster name,access address, access port number, accessible OceanBase cluster (you can add or delete accessible OceanBase clusters), SQL port number, and exporter port number. Select or upload the corresponding software version.

      

   2. In Deployment Mode , select IDC, Host Type (Optional), Server Selection Method, and Host , and add or delete OBProxy.

      

   3. Open Advanced Settings and add or modify parameters such as the startup parameters.

      

4. Click Submit to complete the OBProxy deployment.
