After you add a server and perform manual settings for the server, you need to initialize the server.
Prerequisite
You have manually set the server.
Procedure
Use the super administrator or O&M engineer account to log on to OAT.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Service Deployment > Server Management .
Find the server to be initialized and click Initialize in the corresponding Actions column.
- In the dialog box that appears, select the server usage as OCP , set the admin user password for the server, and then click Initialize .
In the dialog box that appears, click Completed .
After you click Completed , the system initializes the server, including creating the installation user, setting the operating system kernel, and installing dependencies. The system also creates a task. You can view its progress on the Tasks page.
