Add a server

Before you deploy OCP, you must add a server to the system.

Procedure

1. Use the super administrator or O&M engineer account to log on to OAT.

OAT address: http://< IP address of the OAT server >:7000. Note

The default password of the admin account is root. To ensure account security, change the password after the first logon.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Service Deployment > Server Management .

3. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Add Server .

   

4. In the Add Server dialog box, enter the server information.

   

   The following table describes the configuration fields of the server.

   Field	Description
   Server IP	The IP address of the Internet NIC of the server to be added.
   IDC	The data center to which the server to be added belongs.
   SSH Port	The SSH port number of the server to be added.
   Root Password	The password for the root account of the server to be added.

5. Click OK .

   After the server is added, you can view it in the server list.
