In-depth inspection is a comprehensive and systematic inspection process to ensure that the services, components, and tools managed by OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT) are in the optimal condition. This feature helps you identify potential issues and reduce the risk of system failures. It allows you to select inspection objects based on your business requirements and view and download detailed inspection reports for subsequent status analysis and troubleshooting.
Process
This section provides an overview of the in-depth inspection process. The process consists of the following steps:
Configure inspection items: You can select the services, components, and tools on which you want to perform an in-depth inspection based on your business requirements.
[Initiate an in-depth inspection](#Start in-depth inspection): You can initiate an in-depth inspection with ease after the inspection configuration is complete.
View inspection tasks and download inspection reports: The inspection records are saved in the system. You can view historical inspection results and download inspection reports.
Configure inspection items
On the Configure inspection items page, you can view information such as the inspection objects, object types, and inspection items, and enable or disable the inspection items. For more information, see Configure inspection items.
The following table describes the parameters.

| Inspection items | The name of the inspection item configured in the system, which is globally unique. |
| Inspection type | The type of object on which the inspection item takes effect. Examples: OceanBase Developer Center (ODC), OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP), and OceanBase Migration Service (OMS). |
| Description | The description of the inspection item. |
| Enable | The status of the inspection item. By default, the inspection item is enabled. |
Initiate an in-depth inspection
You can initiate an in-depth inspection in the following ways:
View inspection history
The Inspection History tab displays all initiated in-depth inspection tasks. You can also choose Systems and Security > Mission Center to view the tasks.
