This topic describes the features of OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT) V4.3.2.

New features

Resource change features:

  • You can change the resources of the component OBDNS.
  • You can change the resources of the tool OBLB.

Optimized features

  • OAT now supports IPv6

  • Optimization of Product/Component Resource Change Logic:

    • Resource change tasks only copy and load images on servers with newly added nodes.
    • In scenarios where only container resource specifications change, the implementation method shifts from rebuilding the container to using Docker Update and Docker Restart.
    • Only allow the initiation of container rebuild tasks for containers that have stopped running. The container rebuild feature is now implemented through asynchronous tasks, and you can view the task progress and logs in the task center.
  • Optimization of Server Initialization:

    • Supports Ubuntu V22.04 and V24.04 versions.

    • Supports the server restart feature. When the user initiates a server initialization task and enables the "Restart Server" feature switch, the system will automatically perform a restart if the kernel startup parameters are modified and require a restart for the modifications to take effect.
