Overview
This version enhances the user experience in operating OceanBase products by fully supporting IPv6 networks and officially supporting Ubuntu V22.04 and V24.04, thereby enabling users to build a more flexible and reliable O&M system.
Release highlights
Release date: 2025.06.06
Previous version: V4.3.1
Version: V4.3.2
New features
This version achieves full support for IPv6, covering: host initialization; deployment with MetaDB (OceanBase 4.3.5-BP2) and OCP clusters using IPv6 addresses; and OAT deployment on hosts with IPv6 addresses, providing solid support for building a fully IPv6-compatible system environment.
Full adaptation to Ubuntu V22.04 and V24.04
Adaptation to OMS V4.3.5 and OCP V4.3.6
Added kernel boot parameter check during server initialization
Changed container reconstruction to an asynchronous task, supporting image copying and loading for container reconstruction
Added system parameters:
oat.server.ignore_deps: specifies the installation dependency tasks to be skipped for the initialization server
oat.product.backup_meta_timeout: controls the timeout for the backup product metadata SQL
oat.server.warning_when_intel_numa_off: controls the NUMA check for Intel CPUs
Bug fixes
Fixed the issue where /etc/rc.local fails to execute when an Ubuntu 22.04 server is added.
Fixed the issue where an error occurs during the precheck step when an Ubuntu 22.04.3 server is added in OAT V4.3.1.
Fixed the issue of remote file write errors.
Fixed the incorrect settings and judgments for ip_local_port_range and ip_forward in OAT V4.3.1.
Fixed the issue where the logic for setting vm.min_free_kbytes is inconsistent with the logic for checking this parameter during precheck, causing precheck to fail.
Fixed the issue where the backup task fails when upgrading OCP with Meta and Monitor using different clusters.
Fixed the error: Unknown column 'is_default_cm' in 'where clause' when refreshing data for OMS.
Added a check to verify the existence of the target container for installation or resource changes of a product/component/tool, ensuring the task is only added if the container exists.
Added backend complexity verification for the initial OAT password.
Considerations
OAT 4.x versions support in-place upgrade from OAT 3.2.0 or later. Users can use the "Takeover Component" and "Takeover Product" features to upgrade from OAT of earlier versions or Antman deployments.
