OAT V4.3.1

Overview

OAT V4.3.1 is released to better assist you in the O&M of OceanBase products. This version introduces new features for managing OBLB and OBDNS resources, enhances the compatibility with OCP, significantly improves the speed and stability of task execution through optimized resource change logic, and supports configuring the minimum server resources required for initialization.

New features

• Supports modifying OBDNS resources, including adding/Replacing nodes (single-node OBDNS does not support node replacement) and modifying node resource specifications

• Supports modifying OBLB resources, including adding/Replacing nodes (single-node OBLB does not support node replacement)

• Supports different OceanBase clusters for OCP's Meta and Monitor tenants

• Allows you to configure the minimum server resources required for initialization through system parameters oat.server.min_cpu and oat.server.min_memory

• Supports automatic calculation and setting of the speed of the team network card for the server. Supports QDFS file system

Bug fixes

• Fixed the issue where resource change tasks fail for OSharding instances using NLB or OBDNS as the load balancer

• Fixed the issue where modifying container specifications through odpconsole fails to take effect

• Fixed the issue where the installation of OAT in OAT-all-in-one mode requires compatibility with the local time zone

• Fixed the issue where the file_system_type parameter is not passed in error messages for the disk initialization feature

• Fixed the issue where adding new ODP server nodes is required to initiate a resource change task for OSharding instances

• Added a port conflict check before initiating resource change or maintenance tasks for OSharding instances

• Optimized the handling of asynchronous tasks to resolve the jankiness caused by managing a large number of servers

Known issues

• The installation quantity and status are incorrect for OBLB resource changes

• An error occurs occasionally during the encryption of the password when an OCP cluster is created.

• The issue where ulimit -H -c settings cannot be correctly checked in precheck when using a regular third-party user's sudo privileges to add a host

Considerations

OAT 4.x only supports upgrading from OAT 3.2.0 or later. OAT can take over the services of OAT or Antman of earlier versions through the "Component Takeover" and "Product Takeover" features.
