The operating status of the database is very important, and we need to pay attention to it all the time. Developing your own monitoring system is time-consuming and tedious. OceanBase has completed integration with DataDog, which allows you to monitor OceanBase metrics quickly and easily.
DataDog is a cloud monitoring platform that provides a variety of services to help users monitor, analyze, optimize and protect their applications, infrastructure and services in real time.
OceanBase is a distributed relational database that uses an integrated architecture that provides both the scalability of distributed databases and the performance advantage of centralized databases. It supports both OLTP and OLAP scenarios. It’s easy to create OceanBase instances with OceanBase Cloud, which provides fully managed database services with elastic scalability, ultra-fast performance, and high compatibility on a global cloud infrastructure.
With the OceanBase Cloud integration in DataDog, users can collect various metrics for database clusters generated in OceanBase Cloud, including operating status, cluster performance, and cluster health.
