This topic describes how OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) generates alerts and sends notifications when an exception is detected in an OceanBase cluster or application.
Overview
OCP provides alerting and monitoring services for OceanBase clusters, tenants, and the resources that they depend on so that you can detect business operation failures and resource shortages as soon as possible.
Manage alert events
On the Alert Events tab, you can search for an alert event by the subscription method and alert source. For more information about subscription methods, see Alert subscription settings. 
Click Show . Then, you can search by keyword, cluster, tenant, server, alert status, alert level, start time, or end time.
You can view details of a specific alert in the alert event list, including the alert message, alert ID, cluster, tenant, alert generation time, recovery time, and last alert time.

Block alerts
On the Alert Blocking tab, you can search for a blocking condition by the alert source, creator, and alert scope. In the search results, you can view details of each blocking condition, including the application, cluster, blocking scope, blocking object, blocked alert item, blocking end time, the user who created the blocking condition, and the user who recently modified the blocking condition. View the notification history
On the Notification History tab, you can search for a notification by the alert source, keyword, alert scope, alert level, alert item, recipient, start time, and end time. In the search results, you can view details of each notification, including the message content, message form, notification channel, alert source, cluster, alert time, and recipient. You can also perform common operations on the message content.

Configure alert items
On the Alert Item Configuration tab, you can search for an alert item by the alert source, keyword, alert scope, and alert level. In the search results, you can view details of each alert item, including the name, description, threshold, alert level, scope, source, and whether it is a system or custom item. Configure alert channels
On the Alert Channel Configuration tab, you can view details of each alert channel, including the name, the user who created the channel, creation time, the user who recently modified the channel, last modification time, and last notification time. Filter OceanBase logs
On the OceanBase Log Filtering tab, you can search for a log filter by the cluster and keyword. In the search results, you can view details of each filter, including the server type, keyword, cluster, expiration time, and user who created the filter.
