Add an OBServer

You can add OBServers to a cluster that you manage.

Add an OBServer to a cluster

1. Log on to the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console. The Cluster page appears.

2. In the Clusters list, find the target cluster and click its name.

3. In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, click Add OBServer .

4. In the OBServer Information section, specify the host type, server selection method, and host IP address of the OBServer for each zone.

   

5. Click OK .

Add an OBServer to a zone

1. Log on to the OCP console. The Cluster page appears.

2. In the Clusters list, find the target cluster and click its name.

3. On the Overview page, locate the row that contains the target zone in the Zones list, and click Add OBServer in the Actions column.

   

4. In the OBServer Information section, specify the host type, server selection method, and host IP address of the OBServer.

   By default, one OBServer is added. To add more OBServers, click Add .

5. Click OK .
