Backup and recovery guide

This topic describes how to use the backup and recovery guide.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup & Recovery > Overview .

   Check if the Welcome to the Backup & Recovery Guide page is displayed.

   

   • If it is displayed, click Use Now .

   • If it is not displayed, click the More icon in the upper-right corner of the Overview page. Select Backup Recovery Guide .

3. On the Guide page, click Install or Skip .

   The Guide page will guide you through a series of steps. For more information, see Install a backup or recovery service, Create a tenant-level backup strategy, Create a cluster-level backup strategy, and Create a sampling strategy for recovery.

   • To perform the corresponding steps, read the corresponding topics.

   • You can also click Skip in the lower right of the page if you do not need to perform these steps.
