This topic describes how to replace a failed arbitration service with a new one when the server hosting the arbitration service fails.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Cloud Platform Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Cloud Platform Community Edition does not support the arbitration service.
Prerequisites
- The new arbitration service is in the RUNNING state.
- Log streams of the tenants associated with the arbitration service are not downgraded.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters to go to the Cluster Overview page.
In the Arbitration Service List section on the Cluster Overview page, find the arbitration service that you want to replace and click Replace Service in the Actions column.
In the panel that appears, select an arbitration service. You can also click Create Service at the bottom of the drop-down list to create an arbitration service for the cluster. For more information, see Create an arbitration service.
Notice
During the replacement, the arbitration service is unavailable, which may affect the high availability feature of the tenant replicas.
Click Submit.
