Purpose

You can use this statement to query information about database objects.

Parameters

Parameter	Description
[EXTENDED] [FULL] TABLES {FROM \| IN} database_name	Queries all tables in the database specified by `database_name`. The `EXTENDED` keyword specifies to query hidden tables. This keyword does not take effect because the current version of OceanBase Database does not generate hidden tables. The `FULL` keyword specifies to query the table type.
{DATABASES \| SCHEMAS} [STATUS]	Queries all databases in the current tenant. The `STATUS` keyword specifies to query the read/write attribute of the database.
[EXTENDED] [FULL] {COLUMNS \| FIELDS} {FROM \| IN} rel_name	Queries columns of the relational table specified by `rel_name`. The `EXTENDED` keyword specifies to query information about hidden columns in the database. The `FULL` keyword specifies to query the collation, privileges, and comments of the column.
TABLE STATUS [{FROM \| IN} database_name]	Queries the details of all tables in the database specified by `database_name`.
PROCEDURE STATUS [{FROM \| IN} database_name]	Queries the details of all stored procedures in the database specified by `database_name`.
FUNCTION STATUS [{FROM \| IN} database_name]	Queries the details of all functions in the database specified by `database_name`.
{GLOBAL \| SESSION \| LOCAL} VARIABLES	Queries system variables.
{CHARSET \| CHARACTER SET}	Queries supported character sets.
TRACE [FORMAT='JSON']	Queries the execution status of SQL statements. You can choose to output the results in the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format.
COLLATION	Queries supported collations.
PARAMETERS [like_or_where_clause] tenant_name	Queries system parameters.
[EXTENDED] {INDEX \| INDEXES \| KEYS} {FROM \| IN} rel_name [{FROM \| IN} database_name]	Queries indexes or keys of the relational table specified by `rel_name`. The `EXTENDED` keyword specifies to query information about hidden indexes in the database.
[FULL] PROCESSLIST	Queries the list of processes in the current tenant. The following options are supported: `SHOW PROCESSLIST` displays the brief list of processes with the following information: `Id`: the ID of the process, that is, the client session ID of the current session. This ID is the unique identifier of the session in the client. `User`: the username used for database connection. `Host`: the IP address and port number of the client. If an OceanBase Database Proxy (ODP) is used to connect to the database, the IP address and port number of the ODP are displayed here. `db`: the name of the database accessed. `Command`: the type of the command being executed, such as `Query` and `Sleep`. `Time`: the execution time of the current command, in seconds. If the command is retried, the time is reset and recalculated. `State`: the status of the current session, such as `SLEEP` and `ACTIVE`. `Info`: the content of the command being executed. A maximum of 100 characters can be displayed and the exceeding part is truncated. `SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST` displays the complete list of processes with the following information: `Id`: the ID of the process, that is, the client session ID of the current session. This ID is the unique identifier of the session in the client. `User`: the username used for database connection. `Tenant`: the connected tenant. `Host`: the IP address and port number of the client. If an ODP is used to connect to the database, the IP address and port number of the ODP are displayed here. `db`: the name of the database accessed. `Command`: the type of the command being executed, such as `Query` and `Sleep`. `Time`: the execution time of the current command, in seconds. If the command is retried, the time is reset and recalculated. `State`: the status of the current session, such as `SLEEP` and `ACTIVE`. `Info`: the command being executed. `Ip`: the IP address of the server. `Port`: the SQL port number of the server. Note You can execute the `SHOW PROCESSLIST` statement to query the quantity and IDs of sessions in the current database. For more information, see View tenant sessions.
TABLEGROUPS	Queries table groups.
{GLOBAL \| SESSION \| LOCAL} STATUS	Queries the status of the session.
TENANT [STATUS]	Queries the name of the current tenant. The `STATUS` keyword specifies the read/write status of the tenant.
CREATE TENANT tenant_name	Queries the `CREATE TENANT` statement. The `sys` tenant can query the `CREATE TENANT` statements of all tenants. A user tenant can query only its own `CREATE TENANT` statement.
CREATE TABLEGROUP tablegroup_name	Queries the `CREATE TABLEGROUP` statement.
CREATE {DATABASE \| SCHEMA} [IF NOT EXISTS] database_name	Queries the `CREATE DATABASE` statement. The `IF NOT EXISTS` keyword is used to add `IF NOT EXISTS` to the `CREATE` statement.
CREATE TABLE table_name	Queries the `CREATE TABLE` statement.
CREATE VIEW view_name	Queries the `CREATE VIEW` statement.
CREATE PROCEDURE proc_name	Queries the `CREATE PROCEDURE` statement.
CREATE FUNCTION func_name	Queries the `CREATE FUNCTION` statement.
WARNINGS [LIMIT N \| LIMIT N,M]	Queries alerts.
COUNT(*) WARNINGS	Queries the number of alerts.
ERRORS [LIMIT N \| LIMIT N,M]	Queries errors.
COUNT(*) ERRORS	Queries the number of errors.
GRANTS opt_for_grant_user	Queries privileges of the specified user. If you do not specify the username, privileges of the current user are displayed. The current user can query its own privileges. To query privileges of other users, the current user must have the `SELECT` privilege on the `mysql.user` table.
[STORAGE] ENGINES	Queries storage engines. The storage engine of OceanBase Database is `OceanBase`.
PRIVILEGES	Queries the description of MySQL privileges.
RECYCLEBIN	Queries objects in the recycle bin.
SEQUENCE	Queries the created sequences.
PROCEDURE CODE proc_name	Queries the internal implementation of the `proc_name` stored procedure. Notice In the current version, only the keyword syntax is supported. The functionality does not actually take effect.
FUNCTION CODE func_name	Queries the internal implementation of the `func_name` stored function. Notice In the current version, only the keyword syntax is supported. The functionality does not actually take effect.
ENGIN engine_name	Queries operation information about the storage engine. Notice In the current version, only the keyword syntax is supported. The functionality does not actually take effect.
OPEN TABLES	Queries opened tables on the server and their status information. Notice In the current version, only the keyword syntax is supported. The functionality does not actually take effect.
