View the archiving progress

After log archiving is enabled, you can query views for the archiving progress.

View the archiving progress of all tenants from the sys tenant

You can query the oceanbase.CDB_OB_ARCHIVELOG view from the sys tenant for the archiving progress of all tenants in the cluster.

1. Log on to the sys tenant of the cluster as the root user.

2. Execute the following statement to view the log archiving progress:

   In the preceding example, the current cluster contains two tenants with the IDs 1002 and 1004. Archiving is in progress for the two tenants.

   The value of round_id of tenant 1002 is 2, indicating that log archiving is enabled the second time. The archive media is NFS, and the archive path is /data/nfs/backup/archive. One piece with the piece ID 4 has been generated since log archiving is enabled. Logs whose SCNs fall in the range from '2022-06-20 12:00:00.000000' to '2022-06-21 08:00:00.000000' are archived. The amount of raw log data is 15 GB and the amount of archived data is 7 GB, with a compression ratio of 2.14.

   The value of round_id of tenant 1004 is 1, indicating that log archiving is enabled the first time. The archive media is OSS, the storage bucket is oceanbase-test-bucket, and the archive path is /backup/archive. Two pieces with the piece IDs 1 and 2 have been generated since log archiving is enabled. Logs whose SCNs fall in the range from '2022-06-20 01:00:00.000000' to '2022-06-21 08:00:00.000000' are archived. The amount of raw log data is 150 GB and the amount of archived data is 30 GB, with a compression ratio of 5.

View the archiving progress of a user tenant

You can query the oceanbase.DBA_OB_ARCHIVELOG view from a MySQL tenant or the sys.DBA_OB_ARCHIVELOG view from an Oracle tenant for the archiving progress of the tenant.

1. Log on to the database as a tenant administrator.

   Note

   The administrator user of a MySQL tenant is root and that of an Oracle tenant is SYS.

2. Execute the following statement to view the log archiving progress of the current tenant:
