Copy and export a component template

This topic describes how to copy and export an existing component template in OceanBase Migration Service (OMS).

Copy a component template

1. Log on to the OMS console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose O&M and Monitoring > Parameter Template > Component Template.

3. On the Component Template tab, click the name of a component type as needed to copy a template of that type. Supported component types are Store, Incr-Sync, Full-Import, and Full-Verification.

4. Find the component template that you want to copy, and click Copy in the Actions column.

5. In the Copy Component Template dialog box, confirm the parameters. You can also modify the parameters as needed.

   Parameter	Description
   Template Name	By default, -1 is appended to the original template name. You can enter a custom template name. It must not contain any spaces and cannot exceed 64 characters in length.
   Component Type	By default, the component type of the original template is used. You cannot modify this parameter.
   Store Type	This parameter is displayed only if you select Store for Component Type. By default, the store type of the original template is used. You cannot modify this parameter.
   Increment Type	This parameter is displayed only if you select Incr-Sync for Component Type. By default, the increment type of the original template is used. You cannot modify this parameter.
   Remarks (Optional)	Additional information about the component template.
   Template Parameter Configuration	In this section, you can configure the name, value type, and value of a template parameter, and can delete and add parameters.

6. Click OK.

Export a component template

1. In the left-side navigation pane of the OMS console, choose O&M and Monitoring > Parameter Template > Component Template.

2. On the Component Template tab, click the name of a component type as needed to export a template of that type. Supported component types are Store, Incr-Sync, Full-Import, and Full-Verification.

3. Find the component template that you want to export, and click Export in the Actions column.

4. View the component template that is exported to your local storage. You can edit the component template as needed, and then import the parameter configuration of the template when you create another component template.
