Initiate an inspection

This topic describes how to initiate an inspection.

Background

After you initiate an inspection, OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) immediately inspects the cluster based on the inspection rules. For more information, see Inspection.

Prerequisites

Inspection rules have been created.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OCP console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > Inspection.

2. Click the Inspection Rule tab.

3. Click Initiate Inspection in the Actions column of the corresponding inspection rule. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.

   

4. To view the task progress, click View Tasks in the dialog box that appears or choose System Management > Tasks. For more information, see Manage tasks.
