You can add an OceanBase Database Proxy (ODP) to an ODP cluster in the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.
Prerequisites
An ODP cluster is created. For more information, see Create an ODP cluster.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click OBProxy.
In the ODP cluster list, click the target ODP cluster. Then, the Overview page of the ODP cluster appears.
Click Add OBProxy.

In the dialog box that appears, set the following parameters: Software Version, SQL Port Number, Exporter Port Number, IDC, Host Type, Selection Method, and Host.

The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter Description Software Version Select the version of the ODP RPM to install. SQL Port Number The default port is 2883. Exporter Port Number The default port is 2884. Host Configure the host where the ODP is deployed by specifying the following fields: IDC, Host Type (Optional), Selection Method, and Host IP Address. Click OK.
