parallel_max_servers specifies the maximum number of threads in the Parallel eXecution (PX) thread pool on each server.

This variable is obsolete in the current version. Use the parallel_servers_target variable to control the resource usage for parallel execution. For more information about the parallel_servers_target variable, see parallel_servers_target.
