This topic describes how to manage the sessions of a tenant.
Procedure
You can access the session management page by using the following methods:
Method 1
Log on to the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console and go to the Real-time Diagnostics page. Click the Session Management tab. The Tenant Session tab automatically appears.
Method 2
Log on to the OCP console and go to the Overview page of the target tenant. In the left-side navigation pane, click Session Management. The Tenant Session tab automatically appears.
Applicability
OCP Community Edition does not support the OceanBase Autonomous Service. To use this service, go to the session management page by using Method 2.
The procedure of Method 1 is described as follows:
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click OceanBase Autonomy Service.
In the Cluster Details section, click the name of the cluster that you want to view.
On the Real-time Diagnostics page, click the Session Management tab. The Tenant Session tab automatically appears.
View all sessions.
The Tenant Session tab displays information about all sessions of the current tenant in the following columns: Session ID, SQL, User, Source, Database Name, Command, Execution Time (s), Status, observer, and OBProxy.
View SQL information.
For a session in the ACTIVE state, click View SQL in the SQL column. In the dialog box that appears, you can view and copy the SQL details of this session.

Search for sessions.
You can perform a search in the User, Source, and Database Name columns. You can click the search icon on the right of the column name to open the search box.

View active sessions.
You can select View Active Sessions Only in the upper-right corner of the session list to view only sessions in the ACTIVE state.

Close a session.
Click Close Session in the Actions column of a session to close it.
Exit the session query.
Move the pointer over the More icon in the Actions column and click Close Current Query to exit the query.

In the expanded menu of the Actions column, click Full link tracking configuration. For more information, see Configure full link tracking for a tenant.
Note
- This option is available only when you access the session management page by using Method 2.
- You can configure full link tracking at the session level only in OceanBase Database V4.2.1 or later.
