Stop a service on a node

This topic describes how to stop a backup or recovery service on a host.

Prerequisite

You have installed a backup or recovery service. For more information, see Install a service.

Procedure

1. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Backup & Recovery > Service .

2. Find the service to stop and click its name.

   The service details page appears.

3. In the Node Settings list, find the node on which the service to stop is installed and click Stop .

   The system prompts: "Are you sure that you want to stop the service on the node xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx?"

4. Click Stop .
