After you log in to the OB-Dashboard console, the system takes you to the Cluster Overview page by default. The Cluster Overview page displays the overview information of the clusters of the current login user, including: Cluster, OBServer Statistics, Tenant Statistics, Top 3 Tenants by Merge Time, Top 3 Tenants by Resource Usage, and Topology. You can also perform the following operations on this page: Parameter Management, Start Cluster, Stop Cluster, OB Upgrade, and OBShell Upgrade.
This topic only covers the information displayed on the Cluster Overview page. For step-by-step instructions for other operations, see the links in the References section.
Cluster
The Cluster section shows the running status of the cluster and the percentage of CPU, memory, and disk resources allocated to tenants. You can hover the cursor over the resource bars to view the details. You can hover the cursor over the ··· in the upper-right corner of the module to view the cluster name and deployment mode.
OBServer statistics
You can view the running status of OBServer nodes in the cluster in the OBServer Statistics section for timely O&M of OBServer nodes with abnormal status.
Tenant statistics
You can view the running status of tenants in the cluster in the Tenant Statistics section. This allows you to promptly perform O&M on tenants with abnormal status. Click the number after a running status to go to the Tenant Management page.
Top 3 tenants by merge time
The Top 3 Tenants by Merge Time section displays the top 3 tenants sorted by the most recent major compaction time. Major compaction (major freeze) merges static and dynamic data and can be time-consuming. When incremental data generated by minor compactions accumulates to a certain level, a major compaction is performed to merge data into a new major version.
Top 3 tenants by SlowSQL count
The Top 3 Tenants by SlowSQL Count section displays the top 3 tenants sorted by SlowSQL count in the last 6 hours as a bar chart.
Top 3 tenants by resource usage
The Top 3 Tenants by Resource Usage section displays the top 3 OceanBase tenants by CPU consumption ratio, memory consumption ratio, and data volume.
Topology
In the Topology section, you can view the zone name, Region, number of OBServer nodes, Root Server, and status of each zone in the cluster. Click
before a zone name to view OBServer details in the zone, including OBServer IP, SQL Port Number, RPC Port, Hardware Architecture, Resource Usage, and Status. Click the
icon next to Status to filter zones by status.
