This topic describes how to install and uninstall OBLB in the OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT) console. OBLB is an iptables-based software load balancing tool. As a distributed database, OceanBase Database must integrate the computing capabilities of all nodes to maximize the overall performance of the database cluster. Therefore, an external server load balancer (SLB) such as OBLB must be mounted to provide a unified traffic ingress. OBLB distributes traffic to different nodes for load balancing.
