OceanBase Migration Assessment (OMA) provides precise compatibility assessment for data migration. This topic describes the types and versions of databases that support compatibility assessment.
Basic information
OMA assesses the compatibility with converting instances of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, TiDB, DB2 LUW, RDS for MySQL, PolarDB for MySQL, PolarDB for Oracle, DRDS, SQL Server, openGauss, and OceanBase Database (including MySQL and Oracle compatible modes) to OceanBase Database. It also provides database profile analysis and automatic object conversion solutions.
Supported database types and versions
The following table describes the database types and versions that support compatibility assessment. If the version you are using is not listed, use the closest version. For example, if you have deployed OceanBase Database V4.3.5, you can specify OceanBase Database V4.2.2 as the target version in the assessment command. OMA will promptly match the latest OceanBase Database version.
