Manage charts

On the Charts tab, you can edit, copy, and delete a custom chart.

Prerequisites

You can create a chart by using the following three methods:

• Method 1: On the Custom Monitoring page, click Create Chart in the upper-right corner.
• Method 2: If no charts are created, go to the Custom Monitoring page, and click Create Chart on the Charts tab.
• Method 3: If you have created a metric, go to the Custom Monitoring page and click the Metrics tab, where you can create a chart for the metric.

Procedure

Edit a chart

OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) allows you to modify the parameters of charts.

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring.

3. Click Custom Monitoring in the upper-right corner.

4. On the Custom Monitoring page, click the Charts tab.

5. On the Charts tab, find the chart that you want to edit and click Edit in the Actions column.

6. In the panel that appears on the right, modify the parameters.

7. Click OK.

Copy a chart

You can quickly create a chart by copying an existing chart and modifying the parameter settings.

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring.

3. Click Custom Monitoring in the upper-right corner.

4. On the Custom Monitoring page, click the Charts tab.

5. On the Charts tab, find the chart that you want to copy and click Copy in the Actions column.

6. Optional. In the panel that appears on the right, modify the parameters.

7. Click OK.

Delete a chart

You can delete a chart that you no longer use.

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring.

3. Click Custom Monitoring in the upper-right corner.

4. On the Custom Monitoring page, click the Charts tab.

5. On the Charts tab, find the chart that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.

6. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
