Edit a credential

This topic describes how to edit a credential.

Prerequisites

Make sure that you have the following permissions:

Resource Permissions: Cluster Maintenance, Tenant Maintenance, OBProxy Maintenance, Binlog Service Maintenance, or Host Maintenance permission
Menu Permissions: Permission on the Credential Management menu of System Management

Procedure

Log on to the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > Credential Management to go to the Credentials page.
Find the credential to be modified and click Edit in the Actions column of the credential.

In the Update Credential dialog box, modify the credential information.

Object type	Editable content
OceanBase cluster	You can edit the Password and Description fields.
OBProxy cluster	You can edit the Password and Description fields.
Host	You can edit the Credential Name, User Type, Username, Password/Private Key, Applied Host, and Description fields.

Click OK.
