Manage OBProxy cluster parameters

On the Parameter Management page, you can view the Parameters and Change History of an OBProxy cluster.

Prerequisites

• To view OBProxy cluster parameters and their modification history, make sure that the user who logs in to OCP has the following permissions:

  • OBProxy Read-Only resource permission.
  • Parameter Management menu permission.

• To modify OBProxy cluster parameters, make sure that the user who logs in to OCP has the following permissions:

  • OBProxy Maintenance resource permission.
  • Parameter Management menu permission.

View and modify parameters

1. Log in to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click OBProxy.

3. In the cluster list, find the OBProxy cluster that you want to manage and click its name to go to the Overview page of the cluster.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Parameter Management. The Parameter List tab appears.

   On this tab, you can:

   • View parameters: Enter the parameter name in the search box and click Search to view the specified parameter. You can also perform fuzzy search.

   • Modify parameters:

     1. In the Actions column of the target parameter, click Change Value.

     2. Enter a value in the Value field and click OK.

     3. After all values of the target parameter are modified, click Submit Changes.

     4. In the panel that appears, confirm the modification information and click Confirm Modification. After the modification task is completed, the modification is successful.

     5. After the parameters are modified, you need to view the Restart to Apply Changes information to determine whether the parameters take effect:

        • Parameters that do not require a restart: These parameters take effect about 3 minutes after they are modified.
        • Parameters that require a restart: These parameters take effect after OBProxy is restarted.

     Note

     Read-only parameters cannot be modified.

View the modification history of a parameter

1. Log in to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click OBProxy.

3. In the cluster list, find the OBProxy cluster that you want to manage and click its name to go to the Overview page of the cluster.

4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Parameter Management. The Parameter List tab automatically appears.

5. Click the Change History tab.

   Enter Date of Modification and Parameter Name to filter parameters and click Search. On the Parameter Name tab, you can view the Value before Change and Value after Change of the parameter, as well as the Modified At and Changed By.
