You can restart a binlog cluster as needed. Restarting a binlog cluster does not affect the normal operations of binlog instances in the cluster or the consumption of binlog data.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) Enterprise Edition. OCP Community Edition does not support this feature.
Prerequisites
- You have the permissions of the ADMIN user.
- The binlog cluster to be restarted is in the Running state.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Binlog Service. The Cluster List tab automatically appears.
On the Cluster List page, find the target binlog cluster and click its name.
On the Binlog Cluster Overview tab, click the More icon in the upper-right corner and select Restart Binlog Cluster.
In the dialog box that appears, click Restart.
You can view the task progress in Task Center. When the task status changes to ExecuteSuccessful and the status of the cluster changes to Normal Operation, the cluster is successfully restarted.
