You can delete a binlog cluster that is no longer required. A deleted binlog cluster cannot be recovered. After a binlog cluster is deleted, the associated binlog subscription tasks will be cleared and all binlog instances in the cluster will be stopped. Proceed with caution.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) Enterprise Edition. OCP Community Edition does not support this feature.
Prerequisites
- You have the permissions of the ADMIN user.
- The binlog cluster to be deleted is in the Running or Stopped state.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Binlog Service. The Cluster List tab automatically appears.
On the Cluster List page, find the target binlog cluster and click its name.
On the Binlog Cluster Overview tab, click the More icon in the upper-right corner and select Delete Binlog Cluster.
In the dialog box that appears, enter delete and then click Delete.
You can view the task progress in Task Center. When the task status changes to ExecuteSuccessful and the binlog cluster no longer exists on the Cluster List page, the cluster is successfully deleted.
