This topic describes how to manually initiate a collection task to promptly collect exception information about the specified object.
Applicability
This topic applies only to OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) Enterprise Edition. OCP Community Edition does not support the information collection feature.
Prerequisites
You have been granted the ADMIN role.
Procedure
Log on to the OCP console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose O&M Management > Information Collection.
The Information Collection List page automatically appears.
Click Create Information Collection Task in the upper-right corner.
In the panel that appears, complete the information collection settings and then click OK.

The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter Description Object Type The type of the object for which the exception information is to be collected. Valid values: OceanBase Cluster, OceanBase Database Tenant, OBProxy Cluster, and Host. Object The name of the object whose information is to be collected. Information Collection Range The time range within which the information is to be collected. Valid values: Last 10 Minutes, Last 15 Minutes, Last 30 Minutes, Last 1 Hour, and Last 3 Hours. Information Collection Scenario The information collection scenario, which varies based on the object type. Notice
Proceed with caution if you want to select the obcluster exception scenario. The obcluster exception scenario involves a large number of collection items, which take a long time to collect.
