Upgrade all ODPs in an ODP cluster

If a new OceanBase Database Proxy (ODP, also known as OBProxy) version is available, you can upgrade all ODPs in an ODP cluster in the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OCP console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click OBProxy.

3. In the ODP cluster list, click the target ODP cluster.

   The Overview page of the ODP cluster appears.

4. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the More icon, and select Upgrade All.

5. In the dialog box that appears, select a software package version to upgrade to.

   Note

   • You can select only a version that is later than the current highest version.

   • When you upgrade an ODP cluster that contains ODPs with different CPU architectures, if the selected installation package version is unavailable in any of those CPU architectures, the upgrade will fail.

6. Click OK.

   In the dialog box that appears, you can click View Task to view the upgrade progress.

   When the task status is Completed, and all ODPs in the OBProxies list on the Overview page of the cluster is in the Running state, the upgrade succeeds.
