Maintain a server

You can maintain a server after the server is initialized. For example, you can change the purpose, configure clock synchronization, and initialize disks of the server.

Prerequisites

Before you maintain a server, make sure that the following conditions are met:

• You have installed OceanBase Admin Toolkit (OAT). For more information, see Install OAT.
• The server has been added and initialized.

Procedure

1. Log in to the OAT console as a super administrator or an O&M engineer.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Server > Server Management.

3. Find the server that you want to maintain and click its IP address in the IP column.

   At the top of the page, you can search for a server by IP address.

4. On the page that appears, click O&M in the upper-right corner and maintain the server based on your business requirements, such as changing the purpose, configuring clock synchronization, and initializing disks for the server.

5. Click OK.
