OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) is available in two editions: Enterprise Edition and Community Edition.
Enterprise Edition: OceanBase Cloud Platform Enterprise Edition is an enterprise-level database management platform that manages OceanBase clusters. It provides full lifecycle management for components such as OceanBase clusters, tenants, and OBProxy clusters. Additionally, it offers comprehensive observability services including monitoring, alerting, logging, and SQL diagnostics. It also supports enterprise-level features like backup and recovery, inspection, end-to-end tracing, diagnostic services, and dual-IDC high availability. This enables you to manage OceanBase clusters more efficiently and reliably, reducing your organization's IT O&M costs.
Community Edition: OceanBase Cloud Platform Community Edition is designed for community users with OceanBase management needs. It provides daily O&M management for all versions of OceanBase Community components, including host management, OceanBase cluster and tenant management, OBProxy management, and backup and recovery. It also supports rich monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities. Furthermore, the Community Edition offers open interfaces and extensive ecosystem integration capabilities, supporting enterprises and individuals in better meeting customized business requirements.
