DROP USER

Purpose

This statement is used to delete an OceanBase Database user.

Syntax

DROP USER user_name [, user_name ...] [CASCADE]

Parameters

Examples

1. Drop a single user:

   obclient> DROP USER user1;
   

2. Drop a user from a specified host:

   obclient> DROP USER 'user1'@'localhost';
   

3. Drop multiple users:

   obclient> DROP USER user1, user2@'%', 'user3'@'localhost';
   

4. Drop a user and cascade delete its objects:

   obclient> DROP USER user1 CASCADE;
