Overview of DBMS_MVIEW

The DBMS_MVIEW system package is used to refresh materialized views and drop materialized view logs.

Applicability

This topic applies only to OceanBase Database Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Database Community Edition does not support this feature.

Overview of DBMS_MVIEW subprograms

The following table lists the DBMS_MVIEW subprograms supported in the current version of OceanBase Database and their brief descriptions.

Subprogram	Description
PURGE_LOG	Clears the materialized view logs. Clearing materialized view logs deletes all log records related to the table.
REFRESH	Refreshes one or more specified materialized views.
