Overview of DBMS_MVIEW

The DBMS_MVIEW package is used to refresh materialized views and drop materialized view logs.

Applicability

This topic applies only to OceanBase Database Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Database Community Edition provides only MySQL mode.

Privilege requirements for DBMS_MVIEW

All subprograms of the DBMS_MVIEW package require the EXECUTE privilege. By default, the SYSDBA role has the EXECUTE privilege on this package.

Subprograms of DBMS_MVIEW

The following table lists the DBMS_MVIEW subprograms supported in the current version of OceanBase Database and their brief descriptions.

Subprogram	Description
PURGE_LOG	Drops all log records related to the specified table.
REFRESH	Refreshes the specified materialized view or materialized views.
