The alert center on the obshell Dashboard allows you to centrally manage and monitor alert events in OceanBase clusters. You can view alert events, set up alert suppression, and configure alert rules to promptly respond to and handle exceptions, ensuring system stability.
Access path
After you log in to the obshell console, enter the Alertmanager address, username, and password, and click Enable to go to the Alert Center page. You can use an existing Alertmanager address to enable the Alert Center. If you have not deployed one, we recommend that you use obd to install and deploy it. In the upper part of the Alert Center page, click Alert Events, Alert Shielding, or Alert Rules to go to the corresponding tab.
Note
You need to enter the Alertmanager address, username, and password only when you log in to the Alert Center for the first time.
Alert events
On the Alert Events tab, you can search for alert events by Object Type, Alert Object, Alert Level, Keyword, Start Time, and End Time.
In the alert event list, you can view the following information about each alert event: Alert Event, Alert Object, Alert Level, Alert Status, Generated Time, End Time, and Actions. You can sort the alert events by Alert Level, Alert Status, Generated Time, and End Time.

Alert shielding
In the search field on the Alert Shielding tab, enter the search criteria and search for shielding conditions by Object Type, Shielded Object, and Keyword. You can edit or unshield specific shielding conditions.
In the shielding list, you can view the following information about each shielding condition: Shielded Application/Object Type, Shielded Object, Shielded Alert Rule, Shielding End Time, Creator, Status, Creation Time, Remarks, and Actions. You can sort the shielding conditions by Shielding End Time, Status, and Creation Time. You can edit or unshield specific shielding conditions. For more information, see Manage alert shielding.
Alarm rules
On the Alarm Rules tab, you can search for alarm rules by Object Type, Alarm Level, and Keyword.
In the rule list, you can view information such as Alarm Rule Name, Trigger Rule, Duration, Object Type, Alarm Level, and Type. You can sort the alarm rules by Alarm Level and filter them by Type to display only Custom or Default alarm rules.
Note
Currently, obshell Dashboard does not support modifying the configurations of alarm rules or custom alarm rules.
