Change your logon password

To ensure account security, we recommend that you periodically change your logon password.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OMS Community Edition console.

   Note

   You may forget your password when you use OMS Community Edition. If you use a regular account, you can use the root account and the admin account to change the password. If you use an admin account, you can change the password only by using the root account.

2. In the upper-right corner of the OMS Community Edition page, click the username and select Change Password.

   

3. In the Change Password dialog box, enter the old password, new password, and then enter the new password again to confirm the password.

   The password must be 8 to 32 characters in length and contain at least one digit, one letter, and one special character. The supported special characters are . _ + @ # $ %

4. Click OK.
