Change a user password

This topic describes how to change a user password.

Prerequisites

The logged-on user has the ADMIN or USER_MANAGER role.

Procedure

1. Log on to the OceanBase Cloud Platform (OCP) console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose System Management > User Management .

3. On the User tab, click Change Password in the Actions column of the user list.

   The password change dialog box appears.

4. Enter the new password in the dialog box.

   

   The password must be 8 to 32 characters in length, and contains at least three of the following character types: digits(0~9), uppercase letters(A~Z), lowercase letters(a~z), and special characters (ie: ~!@#%^&*_-+=|(){}[]:;,.?/$`'"<>\).

5. Click OK .
