Overview

The OceanBase Database optimizer provides a host of statistics management capabilities based on the native DBMS_STATS package of Oracle Database for you to manage statistics in Oracle mode and MySQL mode of OceanBase Database. Unless otherwise specified, the statistics collection methods are the same in the two modes. The optimizer of OceanBase Database V4.0 and later allows you to perform operations such as deleting, setting, importing, exporting, and locking statistics, managing historical statistics, and configuring statistics preferences.
