SET_MODULE

The SET_MODULE procedure sets the name of the application or module.

Applicability

This topic applies only to OceanBase Database Enterprise Edition. OceanBase Database Community Edition provides only the MySQL mode.

Syntax

DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.SET_MODULE (
   module_name IN VARCHAR2,
   action_name IN VARCHAR2);

Parameters

Parameter Description
module_name The name of the running module. When the current module ends, if a new module is present, call this procedure with the name of the new module. If no new module is present, set the parameter to NULL. The part exceeding 48 bytes will be truncated.
action_name The name of the current operation in the current module. If you do not want to specify an operation, set the value to NULL. If the name exceeds 32 bytes, the excess part will be truncated.
