log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration

2023-12-25 08:49:41  Updated

log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration specifies the maximum available duration of the log disk after log throttling is triggered.

Note

This parameter is available since OceanBase Database V4.2.0.

Attribute Description
Type Time
Default value 2h
Value range [1s, 3d]
Effective upon OBServer node restart No

Both log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration and log_disk_throttling_percentage affect log throttling. A smaller value of log_disk_throttling_percentage means a lower the threshold for log throttling. A greater value of log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration results in stricter log throttling and longer availability time of the log disk. When minor compactions are too slow to catch up the log write, you can reduce the value of log_disk_throttling_percentage and increase that of log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration. We recommend that you increase the value of log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration first.

For more information about log_disk_throttling_percentage, see log_disk_throttling_percentage.

Example

ALTER SYSTEM SET log_disk_throttling_maximum_duration = '1h';
