SET DECRYPTION

Purpose

You can use this statement to set a restore password. A restore password is required only when a password has been specified during backup.

You can execute this statement only in the sys tenant.

Syntax

SET DECRYPTION IDENTIFIED BY  ('password'[, 'password' ...]);

Parameters

Examples

• Set the same password for full backups and incremental backups.

  obclient> SET DECRYPTION IDENTIFIED BY '***1***';
  

• Set different passwords for full backups and incremental backups. Enter the password for full backups in front of the password for incremental backups.

  obclient> SET DECRYPTION IDENTIFIED BY '***1***','***2***';
