OceanBase Connector/NET OracleCommand supports ExecuteNonQueryAsync, ExecuteScalarAsync, result set retrieval, the PS protocol, ArrayBinding, stored procedure calls, and RowId reading.
Supported features
- ExecuteNonQueryAsync, ExecuteScalarAsync, and result set retrieval
- CommandType.Text
- CommandType.StoredProcedure
- OracleParameter.Add (input in text mode; output, inputoutput, and returnvalue in stored procedure mode)
- refcursor (used with stored procedures)
- ArrayBinding (batch binding. You must set
UseArrayBinding=trueandOracleCommand.ArrayBindCount, and first set the current session'sAutoCommittofalse. Calling onlyBeginTransaction()does not meet this condition. This feature is not supported in PL.) OracleCommandBuilder.DeriveParameters(automatically derives parameter information from a stored procedure. TheCommandTypemust beStoredProcedureand the connection must be open.)
Unsupported features
- Returning result sets by using output parameters in non-stored procedure scenarios
ArrayBinding
ArrayBinding allows you to batch bind multiple parameter values and execute DML statements in a single database interaction, improving the performance of batch data operations. To use this feature, set UseArrayBinding=true in the connection string and specify the number of batch rows by setting ArrayBindCount on the OracleCommand.
Note
The ArrayBinding feature is not currently supported in PL (stored procedures/functions/anonymous blocks). It is only applicable to regular DML statements (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).
For more information, see ArrayBinding.
