The OracleDataReader of OceanBase Connector/NET supports reading result sets and their schema information, and is compatible with data types or scenarios such as numeric, character, time, BLOB, CLOB, RAW, ROWID, and REF CURSOR.
Supported operations
- Basic result set reading and schema information
- Oracle numeric, character, time, BLOB, CLOB, and RAW types
- ROWID reading (internally read as a string by the driver, compatible with ODP.NET behavior)
- REF CURSOR result set reading (in stored procedure scenarios)
DataTable.Load(OracleDataReader)andOracleDataAdapter.Fill(DataTable/DataSet)
Starting from V1.3.1, the type materialization behavior of OracleDataReader.GetValues() is consistent with that of GetValue(). In DataTable.Load and OracleDataAdapter.Fill, CLOBs (including expressions that cause the server to report a result column as CLOB) are materialized as string; BLOBS are still materialized as byte[]. When reading directly from the result set, you can use GetOracleClob() to obtain an OracleClob.
Unsupported operations
- Vector-related types
