This topic describes the actions you can take on the Backup Overview page and the information of backup tasks.
Overview
On the Backup Overview page, you can perform the following actions:
New Backup Strategy: create a backup strategy for backup scheduling.
Back up Now: initiate a cluster backup task.
View backup tasks:
You can filter Data Backup Tasks, Log Backup Tasks, and Cleanup Tasks of regular backups by time. You can also start or stop a task.
View secondary backup tasks:
You can filter Data Backup Tasks and Log Backup Tasks of secondary backups by time, and can start or stop a task.

Data backup tasks
The Data Backup Tasks tab contains the following columns: ID, Cluster, Tenant, Data Backup Method, Backup Set ID, Started At, Ended At , Status , and Second Backup . You can filter backup tasks by status. The following table describes more information.
You can perform this operation to click Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days or specify a custom time range in the upper-right corner, to view the tasks in the specified time range. 
| Parameter | Description |

| ID | Click the plus sign ( + ) to expand Backup Method , Data Version , and Storage Directory . |
| Cluster | Click the cluster name in the Cluster column. The Cluster Overview page of the cluster appears. |
| Backup Method | Indicates the backup mode of the cluster. Valid values: Logical Backup and Physical Backup . |
| Data Backup Mode | Valid values: Full and Incremental . |
| Data Version | Indicates the major compaction version of the cluster. When the backup mode is logical backup, backup can be performed only once for one major compaction version. |
| Status | Valid values: In Progress , Failed , and Completed . |
| Second Backup | If the value is Yes , you can click Yes to view all secondary backup tasks for the data. |
| Actions | If the data backup task fails, click View Cause in the Actions column. |
Log backup tasks
The table on the Log Backup tab contains the following columns: Cluster, Backup Method, Host IP Address, Last Backed up At, Latency, Storage Directory , Status , and Actions . You can filter the backup tasks by status. The following table describes more information.
You can perform this operation to click Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days or specify a custom time range in the upper-right corner, to view the tasks in the specified time range.

| Cluster | Click the cluster name in the Cluster column, the Overview page of the cluster appears. |
| Backup Method | Indicates the backup method of the cluster. Valid values: Logical Backup and Physical Backup . |
| Service Host IP | Indicates the IP address of the service host, for example, 192.168.1.1. |
| Latest Backup Time | Indicates the point in time of the latest log backup. |
| Latency | Indicates the time difference between the backup data and the real-time data. |
| Status | Valid values: Starting , In Progress , Stopping , Stopped , and Failed . |
| Actions | For a cluster in the Starting or In Progress state, this column provides the Stop option. For a cluster in the Stopped state, this column provides the Start option. |
Cleanup tasks
The table on the Cleanup Tasks tab contains the following columns: ID , Cluster, Started At, Ended At , and Status . You can filter the cleanup tasks by status. The status can be Pending , Cleaning , Failed , and Completed .
You can perform this operation to click Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days or specify a custom time range in the upper-right corner, to view the tasks in the specified time range.
View secondary backup tasks
Secondary data backup
The Second Data Backup tab contains the following columns: ID, Cluster, Tenant, Data Backup Method, Backup Set ID, Started At, Ended At , and Status . You can filter backup tasks by status. You can take the following actions:
Cluster column: click a cluster name to go to the Overview page of the cluster.
Backup Set ID column: click an ID to view all data backup tasks for the backup set.
You can perform this operation to click Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, or Last 30 Days or specify a custom time range in the upper-right corner, to view the tasks in the specified time range.
Secondary log backup
The table on the Log Backup tab contains the following columns: Cluster, Last Backed up At, Storage Directory , and Status .
