On the Backup and Recovery page of a tenant, you can back up the tenant and the cluster to which the tenant belongs, and view the basic information and details of the backup and recovery and backup strategies of the tenant.
Initiate a backup
Before you can recover data from a backup, you must back up the tenant or the cluster to which the tenant belongs.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants to go to the Tenant Overview page.
Find the target tenant in the Tenants list, and click its name to go to the Tenant Overview page. In the left-side navigation pane of the page, click Backup & Recovery .
On the page that appears, you can back up the tenant or the cluster to which the tenant belongs and create a backup strategy for the cluster.

Click Back up Now to back up the current tenant. You can configure Storage Configuration and Data Backup Method . For more information, see Back up now
Note
If the version of OceanBase Database is earlier than 3.2.2-20220304134610, the tenant backup and recovery feature is not supported.

Click Immediate Backup of Cluster to back up the cluster to which the tenant belongs. You can configure Storage Configuration and Data Backup Method . For more information, see Back up now

Create a backup strategy for the cluster.
Click Add Backup Strategy for Current Cluster to create a backup strategy. For more information about the configuration, see Create a backup strategy.
Recover a tenant from a backup
You can recover a tenant that has been backed up.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Tenants to go to the Tenant Overview page.
Find the target tenant in the Tenants list, and click its name. In the left-side navigation pane of the page that appears, click Backup & Recovery .
On the Backup & Recovery page that appears, you can recover the tenant from a backup or immediately back up the tenant.
Click Initiate Recovery to recover the tenant from a backup. For more information, see Initiate a recovery.
Click Back up Now to back up the tenant. For more information, see Back up now.

The Details tab of the backup task automatically appears. You can view the backup details of this tenant.
Recoverable Time Range: displays the recoverable time range of the tenant and data backup points in time in the last 7 days. The default statistical period is 7 days. You can click < or > to switch the statistical period.

View the data backup tasks.
Click the First Backup tab. You specify a time range to view data backup tasks. The task list contains the following columns: ID, Data Backup Mode, Backup Set ID, Start Time, End Time, Status, Second Backup, and Actions .

View the recovery tasks.
Click the Recovery Tasks tab. You can specify a time range to view the recovery tasks. The task list includes the following columns: ID, Back Up Cluster, Back Up Tenant, Destination Cluster, Destination Tenant, Start Time, End Time, Status, Backup Method, Recovery Time , Storage Directory , and Actions. You can delete failed recovery tasks.

Click the Backup Strategy tab to view the details of the backup strategy created for the cluster of the tenant.
