This topic describes how to rename a message queue topic when you use the OceanBase Migration Service feature.
Scenario
When you create a task to synchronize data from ApsaraDB for OceanBase to a message queue instance, the OMS feature allows you to rename topics by using the
Procedure
Create a data synchronization task and configure it to the
Select Synchronization Objects step. For more information, see the topic about creating a data synchronization task between the corresponding data sources in the Data synchronization chapter.
After you select the synchronization objects, move the pointer over the target topic object in the
Target Objects list on the right side of theSelect Synchronization Scope section.Click
Change Topic .
In the
Map Object to Topic dialog box, change the topics to be synchronized.
Note
When you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a RocketMQ instance, only the Existing Topics mapping method is supported.
When you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a Kafka or DataHub instance, if you do not select Schema Synchronization when you select the synchronization type, you can select only Existing Topics. If you selected Schema Synchronization when you select the synchronization type, you can select only one mapping method to create or select topics.
Click
OK .Complete subsequent task settings as prompted.
