ob-operator defines the following resources for OceanBase Database tenants:

  • obtenants.oceanbase.oceanbase.com: defines OceanBase Database tenants. You can create or modify this resource for tenant O&M.
  • obtenantoperations.oceanbase.oceanbase.com: defines O&M operations on OceanBase Database tenants, such as password change, switchover, and failover.

You can create or modify custom resource definitions (CRDs) for the following tenant O&M operations:

  • Create a tenant
  • Change tenant resources
  • Modify the locality of a tenant
  • Modify configurations of a tenant
  • Delete a tenant
  • Perform other tenant O&M operations
