Prepare installation packages

Note

• In a new environment, we recommend that you use the oat-all-in-one installation package to install OAT.
• The oat-all-in-one installation package provides the Docker, OAT, MetaDB, and NLB images, and software packages of common tools.

Notice

If you use the OAT docker image to install OAT, you must provide the MetaDB docker image when you install OCP.

Note

For Debian or Ubuntu, you can directly use the RPM package, and OCP will install and deploy it for you. You do not need to convert it to a .deb package.

Note

• For Rocky Linux 9 and Alibaba Cloud Linux 3, we recommend that you use the al8 RPM package.
• For an operating system with Linux Kernel 5.10 or later and glibc 2.32 or later (you can run the ldd --version command to view the glibc version), we recommend that you use the al8 RPM package. Otherwise, we recommend that you use the el7 RPM package.
