Note

  • OceanBase Connector/J supports the NCHAR type only indirectly, without the corresponding java.sql.Types type, but it can access data of this type if the application calls the formOfUse(NCHAR) method.
  • OceanBase Connector/J directly supports the NVARCHAR2 type in JSE 6. OceanBase Connector/J indirectly supports the NVARCHAR2 type in J2SE 5.0. OceanBase Connector/J does not have the corresponding java.sql.Types type, but it can access data of this type if the application calls the formOfUse(NCHAR) method.

  • NATURAL, NATURALn, POSITIVE, POSITIVEn, and SIGNTYPE are subtypes of BINARY INTEGER.
  • DEC, DECIMAL, DOUBLE PRECISION, FLOAT, INT, INTEGER, NUMERIC, REAL, and SMALLINT are subtypes of NUMBER.
  • NCHAR and NVARCHAR2 are indirectly supported. The OceanBase JDBC driver does not have the corresponding java.sql.Types type, but it can access data of these types if the application calls the formOfUse(NCHAR) method.
